Heat a large skillet on medium heat and add the butter. Stir until the butter melts and starts to turn a light golden color.
Add the maple syrup and stir.
Turn the heat off under the pan and add the Bourbon.
Turn the heat back on and stir. When the mixture starts to reduce add the bananas.
Let cook until the mixture thickens a bit (about 5 minutes). Remove from the heat and set aside.
