Grilled Blue Cheese and Bacon Basil Turkey Burgers
Nothing but delicious flavor in each bite.
These scrumptious turkey burgers are made with bits of bacon, crumbled blue cheese and then grilled on a barbecue.
As soon as these burgers come off the grill, they’re topped with more crumbled blue cheese.
The turkey burgers aren’t the only ingredient in this sandwich that’s grilled on the barbecue.
The toppings and bread for this burger are too.
Large pieces of red bell pepper, thick slices of red onion and slices of sourdough bread are brushed with olive oil and also grilled on the barbecue.
Instead of lettuce or greens, the burger is topped with fresh basil leaves which adds a wonderful savory flavor to the sandwich.
Feel free to change up the toppings to your liking.
Instead of basil; arugula, fresh spinach leaves, or lettuce would taste wonderful too.
