Cinnamon and Orange, Creamy Fruit and Berry Sauce
You definitely need to try this heavenly sauce the next time you have berries.
I was at an event where there was a beautiful dessert bar with a big display of a variety of fresh berries.
It was so pretty.
Right next to the berries was a bowl of sauce.
I wasn’t sure what it was but people who were serving themselves were talking about how good it was.
That was enough for me, so I covered those yummy berries with that sauce, and wow.
Seriously, it was really good.
So on to the drawing board I went (via the kitchen) so I could replicate it.
And this version comes pretty darn close.
About this Recipe
It’s made with sour cream, half and half, brown sugar, cinnamon and a hint of orange flavor.
The consistency is also very close if not the same to the delicious sauce I originally tried.
Although fresh berries are delicious on their own, this cinnamon and orange cream sauce is wonderful for drizzling on top of berries.
It has a unique fresh taste that’s the perfect complement to berries.
Serve this delicious sauce over berries with breakfast, lunch, dinner or for dessert.
