Triple Chocolate Mocha and Banana Malted Smoothie

What better way to start off the morning than with a thick and rich chocolate mocha smoothie? 

A chocolate smoothie is even better when malted milk and a bit of coffee are added to the mix.

Dark chocolate almond milk tastes so good in a smoothie but more chocolate is even better.

So in this smoothie, dark chocolate chips and chocolate malted milk powder are added along with the dark almond milk to triple the chocolate goodness.

Oh and I can’t forget about the banana which thickens up the smoothie and adds even more flavor.

I especially like the rich chocolate taste in this smoothie without too much sweet.

  • 1-1/2 cups dark chocolate almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate malted milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1 banana
  • 1-1/2 cups crushed ice


  • In a blender, add dark chocolate almond milk, chocolate malted milk powder, chocolate chips, instant coffee, banana and crushed ice.
  • Blend on the smoothie setting until it's smooth.
  • Serve right away while its ice cold.
