Seasoned Hot Dog Bun Croutons with Parmesan Cheese
These seasoned hot dog bun croutons are light, airy and easy to make. Perfect for a snack, appetizer, or soup and salad topper.

Croutons made with hot dog buns have the best light, and somewhat delicate crunch to them.
And I especially like that they’re not hard to bite into like some croutons that are made with denser bread.
These croutons are great for using up leftover, or extra hot dog buns.
And what better reason to take advantage of a good sale or warehouse-store bulk prices than to buy the large-size package of hot dog buns to have extra to make these delicious croutons.

About this Recipe
In this recipe, the croutons are made with just olive oil and no butter.
They’re lightly seasoned with granulated garlic, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
And for even more flavor, grated Parmesan cheese is added before and after the croutons are baked.

For Serving
Serve these hot dog bun croutons as a snack, appetizer, finger food for game day…or as a salad and soup topper.
